She also had help from other musicians when creating the soundtrack, such as soprano singer Joanna Forbes L'Estrange (as heard on tracks like Dieses Herz and Mors Praematura), cellist Jonathan Byers, and her own son Oscar Pinchbeck (credited as "Boy Soprano"). These include a glass harmonica, a zither, and a waterphone. She also employed several unusual instruments for the soundtrack which she played herself. It was recorded at Middle Street Studio, Portsmouth, by Philip Thompson and at The Square, London, by Jarrad Hearman.Īside from writing and composing, Curry played the piano for the soundtrack.
